Alexandra Jonsson is a socially engaged artist and postgraduate researcher at Westminster University  with special interests in pedagogy, participatory art, and critical approaches to digital culture. Her practice based PhD research Body Politics of Data is funded by the Arts & Humanities Research Council (UK).

She we works in formats of public intervention, participatory sculpture, new media, workshops, DIY making and performance. She often works collaboratively, most recently with Cliff Hammett and Loes Bogers, and she is an active member of MAIM Goldsmiths University collective The Open System Association, Autonomous Tech Fetish (ATF), and The Body Recovery Unit.
