The Conductive Glove (2014) explores obstruction, defamiliarisation, and dysfunction as artistic methods to generate new experiences and social spaces for critical reflection. Challenging the idea that technology must always ever ‘function’, the work explore what happens once the smooth and effortless interactions with new media technologies are disrupted. As such, the work proposes new artistic models, in which the body and its ways of inhabiting technical systems can be experienced anew
