The <9 workshops are a series of ongoing collaborative experiments in working along kids under 7 exploring a diversity of themes, techniques, and materials.
The HacksterLab (2013), is a lab environment for children 4-7 developed by Alexandra Jonsson, Gareth Foote & Katie Bracher commissioned by the Future Collective. The lab provided children with the facilities to create art and critical investigations using junk, games, digital and bio-electronic media. We made mudlamps, electric circuits with teacups, fruit and vegetables, junk-powered sound-machines, and cardboard-box software and computational obstacles games.
